COVID-19 Emergency (1E) Assistance Program

 

The Workforce Investment Board of Will County is administering the Emergency (1E) Assistance Program in response to the COVID-19 National Health Emergency Program. This funding will help essential small businesses retain workers and prevent layoffs during this pandemic. DCEO has identified Statewide WIOA Rapid Response funds for layoff aversion activities.

Program Overview

The completed Application must be emailed to Mary Gajcak at mgajcak@willcountyillinois.com. Your Application will be reviewed by the Workforce team for eligibility and notified if there is additional information needed. It will then be submitted to DCEO for consideration. Timing is of the essence as this program is a first come-first served basis. 

Please note: Wages and benefits are NOT reimbursable under the terms of this grant. Please see Program Overview for allowable activities.

This is a reimbursement-based program. The details of the agreement and reimbursement process will be forthcoming if your Application is approved by DCEO.
